Franking Credits Back on Labor’s Chopping Block?
Labor MP Tony Rankenfile has rekindled debate over franking credits in a public outburst that has the party Whips polishing their truncheons. Seemingly unhappy that Labor Leader Anthony Albanese put the policy to rest earlier this year, Rankenfile has attacked his own party for giving up so easily.
‘We’re talking about stopping people from getting a refund for owning shares so that we can spend money on health and education. $60 billion over ten years. Meanwhile, the coke heads over in funds management relabel our policy a “retiree tax” and get it killed!’
Bank of Mum and Dad to be Investigated
In response to runaway house prices and widespread reports of ‘loan-sharking’ interest rates, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has announced an investigation into the Bank of Mum and Dad.
‘This is some of the worst financial abuse we’ve ever seen, even from Boomers’, said Paul Lopez, advocate at the Centre for Survivors of Boomer Abuse. ‘Obviously we’re used to Boomers rorting the system by changing the rules for super contributions, university fees, capital gains and so on, but this is different.’

One of the weird things about going from game player to game designer is the way that it makes you start thinking of games differently. You start trying to break down the elements of enjoyable play and work out what it is about a board game that works and what doesn’t.
